Specific duties include: Assists clients with personal care, which may include bathing; shampooing; shaving; toileting; dressing; transfers; ambulation and positioning, and now nurse delegated tasks! Performs household services essential to the client’s safety and care at home including: laundry, meal preparation, housekeeping, transportation, and shopping. * The Care Assistant is required to become a Nurse Delegated Registered Nursing Assistant (NAR) within 90 days of hire. Bonus points for applicants who come bearing a current NAR/NAC and RN Delegation! 12 & 24 hour shifts are becoming available more and more for those qualified! Home Aide: The Home Aide provides housekeeping and yard care to individuals in their own homes. Specific duties include: Performs household assistance consistent with the client’s preferences as stated in their plan of care. This may include: meal preparation, all levels of housekeeping, yard work, scheduling and transportation to appointments, and running errands.
